Hello, Boozhoo, Tanisi, Taanishii

About Us

Inaadiziwin Transitional Support Services offers culturally-informed, wrap around independent living programming for youth as they gain the skills and experience to transition successfully out of CFS and into independence.

Children who have grown up in the child welfare system often age out of care lacking the necessary support, community, knowledge and skills to successfully transition into independence. At Inaadiziwin, we offer a four-stage program based upon medicine wheel philosophies to guide youth from semi-independence to full independence. Our approach is client-centred, non-judgemental, and anti-oppressive. We assess the specific needs of each youth, helping to build individual capacity using a strengths-based perspective rooted in Indigenous knowledge and practices.

Mission Statement

Inaadiziwin offers unique independent living services where youth achieve self-defined success through relationship and culturally-based teachings.

Vision

Healing our youth through culture, community, and sustainable circles of support.

Words from our youth

“Inaadiziwin was like a home I never had and I’m saying this from my honest opinion. The house was great, the adults were wonderful and so kind. Super funny, the boys were like my brothers. They supported me in seeing my family and taught me a lot of things to help me live on my own. I’m forever grateful to Inaadiziwin and am happy I can still connect with the ones who meant the most to me.”
